Visions of War
The focus here is on the museum’s extensive collection of posters and original artwork used in a variety of ways to inform the public on issues and to persuade popular opinion on various topics. Issues and topics can range from patriotism and nationalism, to recycling and planting victory gardens, to the importance of censorship during times of war. Many examples of well recognized artists are on display as are several significant foreign propaganda posters.
