Kids Camp Programs
The Virginia War Museum is offering the following interactive children’s camps.
World War II Kids Camp – “Sicily 1943”
August 17-20, 2015 - 9 am - 3 pm
Boys & girls, ages 8-12, will delve into World War II in a one of a kind experience. Campers will train in squads & learn WWII infantry tactics and play out two battles a day. In between the battles, campers will receive instruction in uniforms, equipment and history of World War II. Be advised, this is a physically active camp. The theme of this year’s camp will be the Allied invasion of Sicily in 1943. The camp runs from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day and costs $200.
