America and War
This expansive gallery is an overview of U.S. military history from 1775 to the present day. Displays of uniforms, weapons, accoutrements, and art work focus on the men involved in American military actions from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam War. The gallery includes displays on the War of 1812, the Mexican War, the Civil War, the Indian Wars, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Here you will find a wide range of artifacts relating to American Military History from World War II General Mark Clark's trenchcoat to one of America's first battle tanks made during World War I. Take a look at a World War II U.S. anti-tank cannon, World War II U.S. pilot's blood chit, and a Vietnam War U.S. helmet.
